Carlos moved to Athens in 1991. While in high school, Carlos was part of the early release school work program and began working at a local bank in September of 2001 as a part time Teller. After graduating from Athens High School in 2002, Carlos joined the United States Navy and was stationed in San Diego, CA. While in the military, he was able to travel and explore different cultures around the world.
In January 2007, Padron was Honorably discharged from the Navy and came back home to Athens with his wife and two sons to continue his banking career. Carlos joined First State Bank in March of 2024 as a Vice President, Loan Officer.
Throughout his years of banking experience, Carlos has worked in various departments: teller, new accounts, lending and has enjoyed all of them. He has also been involved with many local organizations such as Henderson County United Way, Athens Kiwanis Club, Malakoff Rotary Club, Hendeson County Black History Committee and St. Edwards Catholic Church Finance Committee.
In his spare time, Carlos enjoys camping, taking care of his cattle, watching movies, and listening to motivational speakers.
