Mallary Monroe started at First State Bank in February of 2020 and held the position of Vice President, Human Resources Manager until she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources Manager in March of 2025. Mallary was born and raised in Athens, Texas and graduated from Athens High School in 2015. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development with a minor in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2018 and is a SHRM-Certified Professional.
Mallary married her High School sweetheart, Colten, and they have three fur babies. They enjoy traveling, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
